We will meet every 1st Sat of the month at 7pm--- teens, adults, singles and couples welcome but ALL WILL NEED TO BRING A PARTNER! We will learn various partner dances like salsa, waltz, cha cha, foxtrot, tango, etc!

Hello dance families! Here is the schedule for Fall 2011-Spring 2012. Classes will start the first Thur and Tues in Sept (team will have tryouts Aug 25th). Please bring your first month's tuition to class with you the first day and put it in the money box on the wall inside the studio. You are welcome to pay for the whole semester or whole yr (your monthly rate x 9) if it's easier for you. Remember that 1/2 hr classes are $25, full hr classes are $39, team is $65, 45 min ballroom instruction only class is $32, and sibling discount is $5 off, Please purchase tap and ballet shoes for the tot and combo classes! -When you register, you or your child is enrolled for the entire school year. Registration Fee is $20 per student and due at time of registration. Each student must fill out a registration form. (Registration fees are assessed annually and is used to cover the costs of enrollment, insurance, music, and much more).

-You are not considered registered until form and $20 registration fee is turned in. Hurry, space is limited!

-There will be a spring recital ONLY (no winter recital--just a small in class demonstartion). This means only 1 costume maintenance fee ($35) and 1 recital fee per yr ($20 per student or $30 per family). Those fees will be due no later than Nov 15^th.

½hr classes are $25

¾hr classes are $32

1 hr classes are $39

Thanks to all of you who helped make our summer camp and recital so successful. I've gotten great reviews from the performance and am so pleased!I'm taking registration now for Fall. Classes are filling up fast, so get your registration info to me asap to reserve your spot. Class size is limited to keep our cozy 'family-like' feel. See schedule below:

ReZoN8 Junior ballroom class for ages 7-14. Space is limited. Registration fee is $20 and applied to last months fees. Starting Jan 10th at 12 noon-1pm. Classes will be held on Saturdays. Monthly dues would be at a discounted rate of $40 a month if paid before the 15th of the month and will raise to $50 if paid after. You are welcome to paid the $160 for the full session. A per session $35 costume maintenance fee is required at the beginning of each session. We have fall, winter, and summer sessions. Please email rezon8dance@gmail.com with any further questions. Boys especially needed! There are still a couple spots available for girls. Recital dates and times are TBA.

NEW class starting!! Starting Jan 6th from 8-9 pm every Tues we will have a teen-adult Ballroom class. In this class we will focus on basics, technique, and learn little combinations so you can know how to dance on your own when you go dancing (which will be great additional training for team members as well)! This class will be $40 a month. $40 is the discounted rate that goes up to $50 after the 15th of the month. NO partner necessary. This class will be at the Dance Barn at 2956 E Backus Rd Mesa, AZ 85213. Singles and marrieds welcome!

New Ballroom performance team info:
-We will have tryouts for team on Jan 8th from 8:15-9:30pm at the Dance Barn (meet in the little studio first to sign in and get your number, then we will move into the barn studio).
-If for some reason you can't make that try out but are interested in team PLEASE let me know ahead of time so I can make arrangements.
-You don't have to have dance background to be on team but we are looking for people with POSITIVE, easy going, flexible, and team building attitudes (a MUST) AND natural dance rhythm.
-Spaces are limited now so if you don't make team, you will be asked to take the dance class and when spaces open up on team, we will pull new members from that class to fill those spaces. Sometimes all you may need is just a little more experience!
-We will have numbers assigned to each dancer and then results with numbers posted on the blog the following day.
-You will need to not be afraid to do lifts with a partner to be on team.
-This age range of this team is from teens-young marrieds.
-Team will meet at the Dance Barn at 2956 E Backus Rd Mesa, AZ 85213
-Due to working with Dance Barn and their scheduling and keeping fees comparable, team will be held at Dance Barn Thur 8:15-9:30 pm on Thur and 10-noon on Sat. Those times are subject to change around rehearsal times in which practices will be longer but there'd be no additional fees for those hrs.
-The price will be $60 a month which is a discounted rate that goes up to $70 after the 15th of the month.

8:00-11:30pm yours truly REZON8 DANCE will be hosting a fundraiser Dance For Nie Nie at the Red Mountain Multicultural Center on Power and Adobe in Mesa

Everyone bring your family and friends and come for a night of fun social dancing with a great DJ Peter Welter from Welter Entertainmen t (most sought after DJ in AZ!!), Dance performances, and dance instruction. Come dance the night away for Nie Nie! Donations will be gladly accepted at the door and given to the Nie Nie recovery fund! Dress is casual and modest. Tell all your friends! The more the merrier! Feel free to post any questions in the comments and we will answer them asap. Location and time of team performance:
The event will be on Sat., Sept. 20, 2008 at 7pm at the Stake Center (church) on
1115 E. Ray Road. We will probably meet at Arthur Murray at 6:30 and car pool over there. It is located just east of McQueen Rd and Ray. Remember this is a private (no guests, family or friends may come watch this one, sorry) performance. The crossroads for the Stake Center are Ray Road and McQueen (Mesa Drive) The Stake center is just east of McQueen on the South side of the street. You can't miss it.

Do you all have bruises? I do! A big one on my rt shoulder! I bet Brig will show us some of her's on thur! HA! Love you Brig! Are you all sore? Please make sure you guys are practicing between practices so we don't have to reteach during class time. We should only be cleaning by this point. We only have 4 practices left before the performance. Please try not to miss all these practices will be crucial!! We are under way for a great Fall Session. We went over a lot for the first day of team today. Practice hard on your own so you won't forget before Sat. Remember to mark your calendars for Sept 20th. The performance will be that evening (dress rehearsal that morning during class time). We will mostly likely need to be there 7-8:30 pm. Details later on that. We will all be learning a new routine on Sat. Come on time and be ready to work hard! Remember to those who forgot fees today (team and costume) bring that with you on Sat. We currently have 8 boys and 6 girls on team. This will be a really fun session! See you Sat!

Fall session starts Sept 4th. It will be on a Thur night from 7:30-9:30 pm at the Jazzercise fitness center (click on link on left under practice dates and locations for map and directions) and on Sat at Arthur Murray mesa 9-11am (12pm near a performance). We are only taking about 30 people, so if there are less than 30 all are invited to stay on team as long as they agree to the team rules and fees. If there are more than 30 in attendance we will have a tryout. Just come dressed comfortable and ready to dance. It is considered the first day of practice so place have team fees of $35 with you on that day and yearly costume maintenance fee of $30 with you as well. If for some reason we have to have a try out and you don't make it, you won't have to worry about fees. Please read team info at the last post at the bottom of the page so you understand all the rules. We look forward to dancing with you all. See you all then! hi. i really, really need to go to bed, but i just finished updating my mom's blog and thought i'd come visit this one.

ok, so, really, i'm new to this blogspot stuff, so i'm wondering if there's a way we could get a little calendar or something so that if other people come here, they can easily see when we have performances and get all the info they need for those... so, yeah, that would be cool because i put a link from my family's blog to this one, and i think that this would be a fantastic way to let everyone know about our performances. a facebook group would be cool too, but let's work on one thing at a time, right?

also, i have a couple videos i need to upload, but i anticipate that taking forever, and i need to be at my friend's house in 7 hours, so i need to go to sleep, or at least try, so i'll just leave you all wanting to watch my amazing videos. there are two, and mike has seen them both, but i dont know if anyone else has. they're amazing.
